I did the OS 7 install with Mini VMac – great fun! Now I am trying to get OS 9 running with SheepShaver per the instructions in the video, but I’m hitting a snag. Everything follows the video fine until I try to boot from the 9.iso image. The response is a grey background with a 3.5 floppy icon with flashing question mark “?” – this suggests to me that the emulator is bootstrapping from the ROM ok, but that I am failing to boot from the CDROM ( i.e 9.iso) I’ve tried the “Troubleshooting” hint in the blog of replacing “disk” with “cdrom” in the line which reads “disk /home/pi/mac9x/9.iso” in the file /home/pi/.sheepshaverprefs – to no avail. I’ve also tried fiddling with the bootdrive value in sheepshaverprefs – also no change in behaviour. There are a few hard and “strict”‘ rules for metabolic carb cycling, so I’ll let you make a few of your own choices. Carb Rich Fruits like Blueberries, Bananas, Pineapple, Peaches, Oranges, Plums, and Mangoįoods You Cannot Eat on the Carb Cycling Dietīefore I provide you with the meal plan I want to define what a high-carb, medium-carb, and low-carb days will look like.Perform intensive full-body weight lifting workouts on high carb daysĦ. Be prepared! Meal planning will ensure you don’t snack on bad foodsĥ. Eat lots of vegetables for fibre (try to have veggies in every meal)Ĥ. As you can see, the cycling increases your muscle and decreases your fat, making weight loss quick and sustainable. Low carb days trick your body into burning fat for fuel (instead of sugar from carbs), promoting fat loss. High carb days also replenish your glycerin stores that fuel your muscles and make you feel energized! High carb days stimulate an insulin response that helps your muscles grow. How and Why Does Carb Cycling Work?Ĭarb cycling works because cycling low carb and high carb days offers your body different benefits. Low carb days help with fat loss, while high carb days help muscle growth and performance. Or, you can cycle three low carb days followed by 2 high carb days. For example, you would eat a low-carb diet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and a high-carb diet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You vary your carb consumption between high and low intakes on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The carb cycling diet varies your carb intake, allowing you to lose weight without giving up your favourite carb-rich foods. You still get to eat your favorite good-for-you carbs, but cycle with low-carb days so you lose weight too! It’s the best of both worlds! If you’re looking into the carb cycling diet, here are 30 days of recipes for beginners. Looking for a new way to lose weight? Consider the carb cycling diet! It’s one of the most popular diets for a reason. The final planned release of TenFourFox was earlier this month. And in March of this year, Kaiser announced that TenFourFox updates would be ending after over a decade of development. And amazingly, the browser has continued to trundle on ever since.īut continuing to backport Firefox features to aging, stuck-in-time PowerPC processors only got more difficult as time went on. Maintained primarily by Cameron Kaiser, the TenFourFox project sprang up in late 2010 after Mozilla pulled PowerPC support from Firefox 4 during its development. One of those projects was TenFourFox, a fork of the Firefox browser for G3, G4, and G5-based PowerPC Macs running Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5. "I doubt I would have gotten the level of assistance or cooperation from anyone else that I've received from Mozilla employees and other volunteers," he said.Further Reading My coworkers made me use Mac OS 9 for their (and your) amusement TenFourFox would regularly win benchmarks against other Power Mac browsers because its JavaScript JIT would stomp everything else, but its older Mozilla branch has weaker pixelpushing and DOM that is demonstrably slower than WebKit, and no Power Mac browser is going to approach the performance you would get on an Intel Mac with any browser."īut he was more complimentary when it came to Mozilla, praising the firm's early support for the project. "As far as the browser being slow, well, that's part personal expectation and part technical differences. No Power Mac browser is going to approach the performance you would get on an Intel Mac with any browser Invariably this was that the browser 'was slow,' but startup crashes were probably a distant second place," he wrote. "The bug reports I liked least were the ones that complained about some pervasive, completely disabling flaw permeating the entire browser from top to bottom. In closing, Kaiser echoed the gripes commonly expressed by anyone who has maintained a popular open-source project, bemoaning the burdens imposed by unhelpful users and bug reports. While Kaiser didn't discount the possibility of future releases, the project has reverted to "hobby" status. The final release contains minor changes to the browser's layout engine, and contains a fix to the JavaScript engine that addresses an unspecified problem that creeps in when performing high-precision mathematical operations. "There is also the matter of several major security issues with it that I have been unable to resolve without seriously gutting the browser. "The Web moves faster than a solo developer and the TLS apocalypse has rendered all old browsers equal by simply chopping everyone's legs off at once," he wrote. This, he said, was due to "the sheer enormity of the work necessary to bring it up to modern standards." Classila's development has been far slower than TenFourFox's, with the last release in 2014. Kaiser also used the opportunity to call time on Classila, a "vaguely modern" fork of Mozilla for older Macintosh computers running Mac OS 8.6 and 9. Eventually, the dream of browsing on a PowerPC Mac will die. You can make workarounds to gracefully degrade where we have missing HTML or DOM features, but JavaScript is pretty much run or don't, and more and more sites just plain collapse if any portion of it doesn't." For better or for worse, web browsers' primary role is no longer to view documents it is to view applications that, by sheer coincidence, sometimes resemble documents. "However, JavaScript is what probably killed TenFourFox quickest. "Writing and maintaining a browser engine is fricking hard and everything moves far too quickly for a single developer now," Kaiser said. Adding modern JavaScript features, like await and async, would require major changes to the underlying JavaScript engine, adding further complexity. With no Rust compiler for 32-bit PowerPC platforms, creating builds beyond FireFox 54 is a near-impossibility. And there are insurmountable hurdles that come with building a modern browser for computers that predate 2005. Not all the tools are alive in the series sometimes they don't appear alive. Scribble Trouble- Chico was once again roughly playing with the tools such as pulling Stretch's tape.Tools for Toys- Turner is played with by Leela.Uncle Manny- Chico played with the tools such putting them in his mouth. There has been some cases where the tools are mistaken as toys usually by younger children. Sneeze and Roland are not tools even though they seem alive. There has been tools through out the series. Sometimes a tool can escape from a hardware store when they need an owner. The tools have to stay away from water or they will rust due to their metallic bodies. Due their lack of arms and legs the tools hop to get around and they are dependent so they rely on their owner to take care of their needs. It is also implied that tools are capable of reproducing as of Lily, Lefty, and Junior are a family of crescent wreches. It is said twice that the tools are capable of growing like all living beings. The tools mainly sleep in little drawers but sometimes owners would let the tools sleep in beds. While tape measures like Stretch and vacuums like Sneeze uses their tape as an arm and hand while vacuums use their pipe as an arm. In Staying Healthy, the tools' handle is equivalent to the human hands anatomy-wise. Who knows, maybe in the future I will show you how to draw other Handy Manny characters like all his tools. In Handy Manny, the tools, like humans, age, eat, drink, have emotions, speak, breathe, get sick, and sleep. This tutorial shows you an easy way to learn how to draw Handy Manny step by step. The show is full of fun animated characters that keep you entertained. Rusty is a monkey wrench that Manny uses for all kinds of pipes that needs to be fixed, and lastly there is Flicker the flashlight who is still struggling with the English language so he will often speak in Spanish. Pat is a hammer that has a chatter way of life, and Squeeze is a pair of pliers that helps many grapple onto bolts. Stretch is a tape measure that loves his job to measure all sorts of things, and then there is Dusty a handsaw and he spews out good advice to all the tools in the box. Next is Turner the flathead screwdriver and he is the grumpy tool that often has an attitude toward Felipe. Learning how to draw Handy Manny is a fun way to get your foot in the door to drawing the other characters of the show like his tools Felipe who is a Phillips head screwdriver and he has the self image of being the most important tool in the toolbox. My little sister loves watching the show when Dora is done being broadcasted. Its funny how someone finally requested Handy Manny because I have been meaning to do a lesson on him for quite some time now. The reason why I chose to do this character from Disney is because he was requested by a member. Not only does he operate and generate business from his shop, he has a tool box full of tools that can talk, sing, and dance as they help Manny repair broken projects throughout his small town. Manny Garcia is a Latino repair man that owns a repair shop in the town of Sheetrock Hills. I will teach you how to draw Handy Manny step by step. It is a fun and exciting new series that couch locks me into almost every episode that airs. This is a cute character from a fairly new animated show that airs on Playhouse Disney. It’s a little more detailed than a Task Board and is much more flexible than a Scrum Board. A Kanban usually asks: What are the major tasks (Product Backlog)? What tasks are we working on specifically (Tasks)? What stage is it at (Status)? Has it been completed (Done)? But you can also add project identifiers like Team Members and Roadblocks or Obstacles. Kanban BoardĪ Kanban board is another form of a Task Board but may add a column or two based on project need. Work is assigned, delivered, and new work is added to the process. Deadlines may or may not be implemented as part of the workflow. It’s simple, lacks detail, but visualizes the basic elements of a project. What is the difference between a Task Board, a Scrum Task Board, and a Kanban? Task BoardĪ Task Board is the precursor to a Scrum Board and a Kanban board. As assignments or tasks are completed, their entry on the board is moved to DONE and then removed from the board so that other tasks can be onboarded. Done - We got an outside team to do it.Roadblocks - UX is down two people, and their backlog is enormous.Stage - The UX department is working on this.Tasks - Let’s find a way to make the Unsubscribe button more prominent.Stories - your customer or user’s issue - I can’t find the Unsubscribe button. It’s the most satisfying - and important - reason why you should use a Task Board.Ī five-column Task Board gives a little more insight on the project and may include: Done - Where tasks can be moved to show the team that an objective has been met.Stage - Another column should show where the task is in the pipeline (in progress, build stage, or wherever else). They represent what has to actually get done. Tasks - (Or “assignments”) are the heart of the Task Board.A simple Task Board should have at least three columns in order to answer the three main questions of any project: what, where, and when? What are some common elements of a Task Board?Īlthough Task Boards can be wildly creative, they have some fundamental elements. They visually lay out what task needs to be tackled, who’s handling it, and whether it’s finished. Modern-day task boards may use more than magnets and icons and refrigerator doors, but they accomplish the same thing. We could also see if someone wasn’t doing their chores (although we couldn’t complain to management). When we were done, we took our magnet and put it in the magnet jar on top of the fridge, ready to be distributed again the next day. She bought letter magnets to represent her kids (stakeholders), and she bought magnets shaped like a stove, a dish, a loaf of bread, a dog, and a flower (tasks). My mother kept a very simple task board on the refrigerator. It’s used as part of a business workflow methodology that relies on teamwork, clearly defined goals and objectives, and accountability. What is a Task Board?Ī Task Board is basically any flat surface that you can pin a marker (i.e., note, Post-It, index card) on for everyone in the room to see. Whether it’s three people or 30, a Task Board is your first step. And before you do that, you need a Task Board so that productivity isn’t “leaking” from your project. Although the deadline for the project hasn’t yet been formalized, you’re told you basically have a month to sort it out and get the project rolling.īefore you begin any project or decide to scale any project up or down, you need to visualize team members, key stakeholders, and objectives so that your project has clear goals and accountability across the table. You’re in charge of a large project at work - but you’ve just been handed a list of problems with a supporting cast of various team members with different responsibilities. For a standard bingo game, choose 75 (numbers from 1 to 75). You can set the amount of values from 25 to 150. By choosing the number of random values, it is as if you have changed the number of numbered balls inside the bingo cage. If you use a bingo cage, this number represents the 75 numbered balls. The voice to call out the numbers can only work with 75 numbers. Set the number of random values that will be distributed randomly in the squares of the cards. You can enter the text lines at the next step. Words / Phrases: To create bingo cards with personalized text lines, words or phrases, in the squares. You can later modify this option again when you activate the caller for this bingo project. If you want to display the emoji name so player can read it, at “Emoji name” select “Show”. Numbers: To create bingo cards containing numbers in the squares (standard bingo).Įmoji: To make bingo cards with emojis in the squares, at “ kind of bingo” select “ Emoji“. Modify the column headers BINGO for another five letters word. The name will be shown on the main page of user account. You can learn more about the costs List: “ Costs List“.Įnter the name of your project, it will help you sort out your bingo projects. The cost increases with each multiple of 25 cards for up to 1000 cards per game (40 credits). The card generation costs 2 credits per 25 cards. *from 1250 to 2000 cards is for printed cards only. On the main page, click at the top-right corner on “⊕ New Bingo Project“.Ĭhoose the number of cards that will be generated by the application for this game (minimum of 25 cards, maximum of 1000 cards). Save the cards as a PDF file and bring the file at a print shop. If you are using printed cards, you can make the design of the cards by importing images. If you plan using virtual cards, create the a new project and then click “Play” when you are ready to start the game. Once a project is created, you can reuse the same project again instead of creating a new one every time. When you create a new bingo project, the first bingo caller activation, the first design and the first simulation will be free. The settings are set by default to generate standard bingo cards containing numbers from 1 to 75 with a free center. The cards will be randomly generated so that there are no duplicate cards in a same project. This tutorial explains how to create a new bingo project and create your bingo cards. Use Stroke: Upward Stroke sparingly to generate Harmony Meter to keep your Harmony Orbs going if your party members needed heals or damage buff but hold onto it if Counter Checks has not happened recently to be ready for it.Paint: Door of Illusion generates a decent chunk of Harmony Meter on cast even without being interacted with or being used by allies, so use it as often as you can unless the specific boss has debuffs that need to be cleansed or if your party members need babysitting to help them reposition.Use Paint: Pouncing Tiger sparingly as this is your multi-purpose tool that is used for Harmony Meter generator and also for Destruction and Stagger Check. This skill is also 1 of your main Stagger Check skill as well. Stroke: Sprinkle is another shielding skill that you can use to maintain shield on your allies but it has a linear area coverage, which can be difficult to shield multiple Hit Master Classes.Shield your teammates with Stroke: Hopper and try to hit the bosses with it at the same time as well to generate some Harmony Meter.Rotate your party damage buff between Paint: Sunsketch and Paint: Sun Well as the buff does not stack with each other.Keep the brand up as frequently as you can with Paint: Drawing Orchids, Stroke: Ink Shower or Paint: Butterfly Dream.Protection is require as Azure Starlight doesn't shield yourself. You can also replace it with Paint: Starry Night to help allies to greed damage by shielding them and giving them a massive 75% damage reduction on top of the shield but it requires you to be right next to your allies because of its small area coverage. If the specific bosses do not need Destruction and Stagger Check, you can replace it for Paint: Ink Well for higher Harmony Meter gain.Paint: Pouncing Tiger can be replaced with 2 options of your preference but it also based on situations that allows you to use them. This leaves you with a bunch of unused skill points since there’s nothing else to upgrade. Hence if you can’t consistently hit two tigers, just leave the skill at level 7.īeing at level 7 reduces its mana cost as well. You can upgrade Paint: Pouncing Tiger to get Two Tigers for better Destruction Check, but the Stagger value and Destruction Check are split between both tigers.Since Stroke: One Stroke start-up animation is too long for Counter Attacking even with high Swiftness. Unfortunately, Artist only has 1 good Counter Skill which is Stroke: Upward Stroke since it can generate decent Harmony Meter and has Tenacity as a save backup if you need to superarmor through certain mechanics or failed counter. This skill is also able to generate Harmony Meter by just casting it even if your allies don't interact with the portal. Paint: Door of Illusion provides Artist a debuff cleansing tool to cleanse debuffs and some Crowd Controls from allies and if your allies interact with the portal it will grant them massive shield and gets teleport to your location. This skill is also 1 of your high Stagger Check skill. Paint: Pouncing Tiger is a multi-purpose skill that generates decent Harmony Meter and provides Destruction and Stagger Check.Use the Scroll Bar to see the minimum Skill Point allocation This is 1 of your high Stagger Check skill.
